Boiled Chicken

Easy and tasty



  • But good quality chicken
  • 2 big Carrots roughly sliced
  • 3 stiks celery chunky sliced,
  • 1 large onion thickly sliced.
  • 2-3 potatoes (peeled and cut into big chunks.
  • ground Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste (more or less if you like)
  • Any type of dried herbs, like Mixed herbs, rosemary or Thyme (If you have it)


Cut off any excess fat that might exist inside the cavity of chicken

Place chicken in pot large enough to take all the indredients.

All ingredients in pot except potatoes.

Cover with water and bring to boil.

Simmer on low heat for 1 hour.

Then add potatoes and cook for about 20 mins.

Check the chicken, it should be tender.

Serve in bowls with the vegetables and the broth.

Absolutely amazing!

As a variation to this.

Before serving

Take all the cloves from a bulb of garlic and mash with olive oil and fresh chopped parsley.

Add this to the pot before serving.
