set oven to 190'c
melt the butter in a large flameproof dish. cut the chicken into eight pieces and fry in the butter until golden brown. add the soup and quarter can of water. mix well, cover the dish and cook in the centre of the oven for 30 mins.
make up the potato as directed on the packet. put into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle. pipe the potato over the top of the chicken mixture. sprinkle with cheese. grill or bake for a further 10 mins or until the top is golden brown.
