Ingredients

  • 375g mini chicken fillets, diced into small chunks (£2.79)
  • patacks tikka sauce 450g (89p branded bargains)
  • handful frozen peas (optional) (5p)
  • 75g long grain rice (5p)
  • 1 onion, finely diced (8p)
  • serves 4 – batch cooking!
  • ingredient’s brought at aldi (except the sauce)

Instructions

  1. 1) fry the onion in a little oil for 5 mins then add the chicken chunks and cook for around 10 mins

  2. 2) add the sauce, and swirl some boiling water in the jar to pick up any leftover sauce & allow to cook on a low heat for 30mins

  3. 3) cook the rice according to the packet instrucions

  4. 4) add the peas 5 mins before serving
