Healthy Chicken Casserole

Healthy but hearty boiled chicken casserole



  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 packet chicken legs (thighs and drumsticks)
  • 1 onion quartered
  • 1 handful peas
  • 1 sprinkle of mixed herbs


1 plonk all the above ingredients (except the peas) into a casserole pot and cover with boiling water from the kettle.

2 cook on a medium heat for 45 minutes

3 reduce to simmer for further 20 minutes

4 throw the peas in for 3 minutes

5 tuck into the hearty healthy taste of home! This recipe is big enough to get afew nights dinner out of it.....If your flatmates dont eat it while your out ;)
