Marmite Roast Chicken

To all marmite lovers, cheap and easy and eating something you love!



  • - chicken breasts with the skin on still, or a whole chicken
  • - marmite
  • - oil, preferably olive oil
  • - salt and pepper for seasoning if you choose


Mix the marmite with some oil, as this would make it easier to spread onto the chicken. Spread the marmite onto the chicken, on the breasts and the legs, or just the breasts if that's what you've got, and lightly season it with salt and pepper and then cook it in the oven for the amount of time the packet or wrapping suggests.
