Mash And Chicken Dinner

Comfort food away from home - my nostalgia / Serves: 1


  • Breaded frozen chicken breasts
  • 2 potatoes (peeled and chopped)
  • butter
  • salt
  • milk or cream
  • pepper
  • your choice of vegetables (i have sweetcorn)
  • gravy granules (i use turkey but any is fine)


1) Cook chicken breast according to packet instructions

2) Peel and chop potatoes and boil until soft (for around 15/20 minutes - depending on potato type)

3) Drain potatoes and mash, adding butter, milk (or cream) and salt until you reach your preferred consistency and taste.

4) Boil water and make gravy

5) Add any vegetables you want and serve
