Peri Peri Chicken Burgers

So tasty and filling, so simple to do!



  • Chicken breast (amount depending on how many people)
  • Peri Peri sauce (preferably Nando's)
  • Lemon juice (half a lemon)
  • Pinch of black pepper pepper
  • Rolls
  • Salad (optional, can be used as a side and/or in the burger itself)
  • ketchup/mayonaise/burger Sauce (optional to personal preference)
  • Chips/ wedges as a side


Firstly, get a bowl and add roughly 2 table spoons of peri peri sauce per one chicken breast (may vary), add the lemon juice and black pepper. Stir and add the chicken. Make sure the chicken breast(s) are cut to size (so not to big, but big enough to fit in the roll) . Marinate for atleast an hour for a bigger flavour. After an hour, cover a slightly greased piece of foil to cover a grill pan and place chicken on top. set on low to medium heat until cooked. Make sure chicken is cooked all the way through before serving. place in the roll followed by lettuce and a tomato with mayonaise (optional) or have it plain. serve with side salad and chips to compliment the dish. Its very fulling and tasty!!!
