Quick Korma

Chicken korma



  • Chicken breasts
  • double cream
  • curry powder
  • onion
  • rice


Cut the chicken into strips.

slice onions into thin strips.

add a little oil into a pan and fry off chicken and onions until cooked through.

drain off any oil or water left in pan.

sprinkle curry powder onto the chicken and stir through until chicken is coated.

add the double cream to the pan and stir through.

allow cream to reduce to a thick korma sauce.

cook rice off.

    I thought i'd give this a go and it's pretty tasty although i'm mindful that the double cream is quite calorific. I added mushrooms to the mix plus seasoning but find the mix lacks a little depth. It's certainly easy though and is more than enjoyable but lets see what the boyfriend thinks when he gets home ;)

    Can it be used with single cream ? Or low fat yoghurt ?
