Home › Beef › chilli con carne chilli con carne RECIPE BY Guest Contributor delicious and filling on top of a baked potato PREP 0 min COOK 0 min TOTAL 0 min YIELD 0 JUMP TO RECIPE SHARE Share on Facebook Share on Flipboard Share on Pinterest Share via Email Ingredients500g pack lean minced beef 1 large onion1 clove garlic crushedtin of kidney beans in chilli sace2 tsp of cumin (add more if it not spicy enough after tasting)dash worcester saucesalt and pepper3 beef oxo cubes1.5 litres boiling water1 tin chopped tomatoes1 tbsp tomato pureesour cream for serving (optional)Instructions Step 1: dry fry onion garlic and minced beef for five mins Step 2: add all other ingredients and simmer on a low heat for a couple hours if you have it. if not just until it reaches desired consistency. Step 3: stir regularly to avoid sticking. Step 4: serve with white rice or on top of a big baked potato with a dollop of sour cream.
