Chilli Pasta Sauce

A pasta sauce that can also be used for chilli con carne

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion (diced)
  • 1 clove of Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 can of Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 3 Tbsp of Tomato Puree
  • Chilli Powder (to taste)
  • 1 Tsp dried Cumin
  • 1 Tsp dried Coriander
  • Good shake of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Beef stock cube
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1) Heat the oil in a large saucepan and add onion and garlic until softened

  2. 2) Stir in tomatoes, tomato puree, chilli powder, cumin, coriander, worcestershire sauce and crumble in stock cube. Season well with salt and pepper.

  3. 3) Stir in cooked pasta.
