Step 1:

  • Pre prepare chicken into strips and cook
  • Step 2:

  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan on a low heat
  • Step 3:

  • Fry the onion for 4-5 minutes until softened but not colored
  • Step 4:

  • Add garlic and fry for 2 minutes
  • Step 5:

  • Pour in the litre of stock and 300ml of water
  • Step 6:

  • Bring just to the boil
  • Step 7:

  • Stir in vermicelli and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Step 8:

  • Add the chicken and parsley and simmer for a further 2-3 minutes
