Chinese Peanut Noodles

A quick and authentic tasting chinese recipe.

Step 1:

  • Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok and add the onion, mushrooms and chicken and fry for 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2:

  • Add the soy sauce and fry for a further 2-3 minutes or until the onion is soft and the chicken is cooked through.
  • Step 3:

  • add the honey, peanut butter, 5 spice, chilli (optional) and ketchup together with 200ml of water and bring to the boil
  • Step 4:

  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
