Step 1:
Preheat your over to 200deg and grease (and if you can, line) your tin. Flapjack is sticky and nigh-impossible to remove from ungreased tins! Step 3:
melt the fat, suger and syrup in either the microwave (about 30-60seconds) or in a saucepan over a low heat. Step 5:
add the oats, chocolate and raisins and mix. If the mixture is very sloppy, add more oats; flapjack is not an exact science! Step 7:
tip into your tin and press down hard with the back of a spoon. Bake for 15-20mins; it is done when the top is a nice golden brown. Step 9:
remove from the oven and leave it in the tin to cool. Cut it into the shape of your choice while it is still hot because it cools solid.
