Chocolate Berry Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 standard mug of porrige/rolled oats
  • 1 mug semi/skimmed milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp honey/golden syrup
  • very sml handful chocolate drops or chopped chocolate
  • handful strawberries/blueberries/raspberries or (cheaper alternative) 2 tbsp berry jam

Instructions

  1. The night before, mix together the milk, oats, salt, golden syrup/honey, chocolate and cinnamon in a jar and place in the fridge

  2. in the morning add the fruit and anything else you’d like and eat – its usually served cold but if you’d prefer it warm you can always heat it up in the microwave.
