Any Meat Potato & Veg Stew

You can use any meat you prefer with this delicious stew!



  • Any meat you like! I tend to go for pork or beef but any is nice!
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Thyme
  • Garlic
  • Spring onions
  • All purpose seasoning,
  • Oxo cube for whichever meat your cooking (i.e Beef would require beef stock)
  • Cabbage


Turn on the oven medium heat.

Cut the potatoes into slices to top the stew. They should form circles. about a centremeter thick.

Boil the Potatoes, Carrots and Cabbage. The potatoes in a separate pan to the carrots and cabbage as they'll be used separately.

Slice the meat in chunks and the garlic and spring onions. Fry in a pan until browned. Add the all purpose seasoning and the stock.

Put that in a casserole dish ready for the oven.

Add the softened carrots and cabbage to the meat and stir.

Once the potatoes are soft, top the stew in the dish so you can't see the meat through it. Sprinkle some thyme on top of the potatoes and put into the oven for 20 minutes or until the potatoes look crispy.

There you go, absolutely delicious and can feed up to 4 people! Everyone will love you!
