Apple N Banana Cake

  • 2 apples (sliced)
  • 2 bananas ( sliced)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Preheat oven at 180 deg.

Beat sugar and butter until it's fluffy.. Add eggs and beat well with an electric mixer.In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add the flour little by little in the paste and beat well (around 5-8 minutes).Add a little vanilla essence. Grease your mould and pour half the mixture in it. Then put both banana and apples . Cover with a little sugar and then pour the remaining mixture. Put in oven and cook for 25-30 minutes .. Check with a skiwer .. Cool on a wire rack and serve with tea or maybe used as a snack also

    I hate bannanahs but love apples. can you make the cake without bannanahs?

    maybe the amount of mixture should be just about half of the cake? still a good recipe- everyone i've given a slice to love it.

    To be honest Nadia, it should be self-raising. Think self-raising for cakes and plain for biscuits :)

    Recipe was okay may need more mixture was it self raising flour or normal flour?
