Chicken & Mushroom Pie

Ingredients

  • puff pastry
  • chicken breast (half pp)
  • 2 mushrooms pp
  • 3/4 pint of milk
  • chicken gravy powder
  • any other things you'd like to add to make it more interesting (i'd suggest ham and green peppers too)

Method

slice the chicken really small and fry, then add sliced mushrooms (and peppers and ham)...mix the gravy powder with the milk and add to the pan. bring to the boil, stirring continuously. then allow to simmer for 10mins

find a pie dish (1pint) and make sure the pastry fits over it ! warm the oven to around 180 (gas 5 or 6), pour the mixture into the pie dish and cover completely with pastry, making little foldy-up things at the corners if you wish. remember to poke a hole or two in the pastry, and then add it to the oven

cook for 20mins i think :] or until golden brown
