Home- Made Pizza Base

Makes a really good pizza!



  • 250g strong flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon quick acting yeast
  • 150ml water(warm)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1-2 tablespoon of flour for kneading


sieve the flour and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir in yeast

put 150ml of warm water into a jug. Add the oil to the water.

Pour water/oil into the flour, mix together until the mixture forms a ball.

Knead the dough until its smooth and springy.

When it comes to cooking the pizza cook it at 225 degrees/gas mark 7 for 25 minutes.
