Pizza Pie

Deep Pizza Pie Thas Great For Leftovers Too!

Ingredients

  • Utensils:
  • Deep Round Spring clip tin
  • pastry brush
  • Ingredients
  • Mozarella
  • shortcrust pastry
  • cheddar cheese
  • smoked cheese
  • pepperoni (or you can use whatever meats you like)
  • ham
  • 1 egg
  • small amount of butter
  • 1 beef tomato or 2 regular tomatoes
  • 1 jar of Tomato pasta sauce

Method

1.Heavily grease the spring clip tin with the butter

2.Line the base and sides of the tin with the shortcrust pastry

3.Thinly slice the mozarella and place it ontop of the pastry

4.Add 3/4 of the pepperoni ontop of the mozarella

5.Then add slices of cheddar cheese on top but leave enough to add later on

6.Now slice the tomato and add on top of the cheddar cheese

7.Next add the ham

8.Then add the smoked cheese

9.Next cover the ingredients with about half a jar of the pasta sauce

10.Next add the rest of the pepperoni and smoked cheese and any leftover meats you may have

11.Finally seperate the egg and brush the edge of the pastry with egg yolk

12.Then place in a 190 degrees C preheated oven for about 45 minutes until the pastry is gloden brown,once the pie is ready leave in the tin for ten minutes to settle.

Extra Tips:

Try adding oregono,basil or crushed chillies into the ingredients to give it a twist.

This pizza pie will probably give an average person 3 courses so good value for money!
