Delicious Potato Wedges

Published Monday, 17 September, 2012 by Faye

Easy, cheap and tasty ;d

  • - 4 medium sized potatoes
  • - garlic granule grinder
  • - sea salt grinder
  • - cracked black pepper
  • - mixed herbs (oregano, basil, etc) italian ones are good.
  • - chilli flakes
  • - oil. Spray oil is good for wedges.
  • - grated cheese
  • - optional hot sauce. I use nando's piri piri, but any thick hot sauce will do :)
  • **optional honey mustard dip**
  • - clear honey
  • - mustard (wholegrain or dijon, i guess any would work)
  • - mayonaise

Peel potatoes and cut into wedge shaped chunks.

boil for 8-10 minutes in heavily salted water.

pre-heat the oven to 200c

drain and place in a mixing bowl. Liberally add all the seasoning, and lots of hot sauce if you're using it. Mix like crazy till the wedges are coated.

spray a baking tray with oil, spread the wedges onto it, and spray again with oil.

cook for 30 mins.

serve with loads of cheese piled on top.

***to make the honey mustard dip***

2 big spoons of honey

2 big spoons of mustard

loads of mayonaise

mix together in a bowl, and serve as a dip for your wedges.
