When I was little my dad was obsessed with buying these mini pizzas. They were so continent, just pop (or hurl) them in the oven and dinner was done for me and my brother.
However, my memories of these pizzas are... Well. Burnt?
It was usually my mum (who was working full time) who cooked them for us, she had a wonderful knack for burning them. My brother and I would meekly nibble at our cremated pizzas whilst my mother proudly celebrated her culinary skills.
When I was about thirteen I discovered something that would change the way I ate pizza, forever.
To be honest it's not really a recipe, but more of an idea (which was not intended to have copied anything)
When you take the pizza out of its frosty cellophane wrapper attempt to cut (hack) it in half. Place one half on top of the other.
Put it in the oven at the heat the packaging advises.
This way the cheese will become gooey in the middle instead of becoming black...
