Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with your choice of side dishes.
