1. Empty the jelly packet into a bowl. Put boiling water according to the instructions on the packet.
2. Let the jelly set firmly in the fridge.
prepare your custard according to the instructions on the packaging
once you have prepared the custard wait for it to cool down.
now we will start to assemble the trifle
on top of the jelly , crumble the plain vanilla cake, once that is done pour the custard over the cake, put the trifle back in the fridge to set for about 15-20 minutes.
whip your double cream or your whipping cream with an electric whisk or a normal hand whisk. Once you have whipped the cream you can either put the cream in a piping back and decorate or you can just spread the cream on top of the custard ,.
if you want to add any fruits or chocolates on top then you can according to your wish. Your trifle is ready
