Beetroot Halwa

Wholesome delight



  • 4 cups of shredded beetroot
  • 8 tbs of ghee
  • 3 cup of milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbs cardamon
  • cashew nuts and raisins
  • vanilla ice cream


Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan,add beetroot and saute for 5 min.Add milk,cardamon powder and cook on medium heat for 5-6 min or until the milk evaporates and the beetroot are cooked.Fry the cashew nuts and raisins in a little ghee ,and add.Take a plate,rub ghee over the plate.Pat the halwa over the plate and cut to cubes and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
