Chocolate Biscuit Cake!

Published Wednesday, 28 January, 2009 by Kirsty

Not even any need to bake anything!

  • 150g plain chocolate
  • 150g butter
  • 2 large tbsp golden syrup
  • 225g crushed digestive biscuits
  • 25g hazelnuts or almonds toasted and chopped (optional)

1. Melt the chocolate, butter and syrup in a saucepan at a very low heat

2. Stir in the biscuits and nuts (if using) until well blended and spread into a cake tin

3. Refrigerate for a couple of hours until well set then cut into pieces and enjoy!

These will last for about 2 weeks in the fridge... but they probably won't last that long!
