Chocolate Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 175g plain flour
  • 1 tsp. Caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Cocoa powder/hot chocolate powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 90ml water
  • 200ml semi or skimmed milk
  • 1 mashed banana, handful of raspberries or blueberries, whatever takes your fancy
  • handful of choccy chips or 2-3 pieces of dark chocolate chopped up
  • 20ml veg oil

Instructions

  1. 1) whisk the all the ingredients bar the oil in a jug, ensure everything is incorporated

  2. 2) add a tiny dirzzle of the oil into a frying pan and heat it quite high, but make sure the oil doesnt smoke. Twist it around the pan to ensure all the pan is oiled – the pancake wont stick this way.

  3. 3) pour a sml amount of mixture into the pan and twist the pan so the mixture spreads out around the pan into a circle

  4. 4) should take around 2-3 mins on each side. Add a tiny more oil each time you cook another pancake. Repeat until you have no batter left!
