** Cinnamon Biscuits **

they give your home a lovley christams smell



  • 150g (5 oz) self- raising flour
  • 150g (5oz) plain flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 125g (4 1/2 oz) butter
  • 100g (3 3/4 ) sugar
  • 1 egg beaten


1. set oven to 160 degrees c (gas mark 3)

2. sift flours and cinnamon into a large bowl

3. in a separate bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth add egg and mix well

4. stir in the dry ingredients and mix into a firm dough. lift onto a lightly floured board, knead until smooth. roll to 5mm thickness.cut into shapes and place on a greased oven tray.

5. bake in the preheated oven until light golden color, 10 to 15 minuets. let cool and harden.

    I thought the biscuits were delicious! The ingredients makes millions for me- it made about 50!!!!! I added a bit of milk when i was making the dough which made them a bit nicer. I think they would be a bit better if you put sugar on the top and maybe some icing sugar. ( after made though) xx over all i would recommend making them as they were fabulous and i would give them 4/5 because i think they could have made the recipe a bit better (no affence) xx have fun and hope you like them if you make them xx :):):):):) :P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P:P :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    im mkig these now if you dont like cinammon you could replace it with ginger right now making the basic mix flours sugar egg and butter im gonna plit that mix then and use half for cinammon and raising biscuits and the other half ginger biscuits also you could use vanilla sugar instead of normal sugar and have vanilla biscuits ty for the recipie

    Made these with the kids, purely as I had everything needed for the recipe, quite tasty but Id leave them in a little longer or roll them a little thinner n

    my name is eddy i cant say my rs properly so i say weddy the wed waving wocket hahaha i got got a massive head that looks like a ballon i would b fat but all the stuff i eat goes to my head

    these biscuits were lovely... but there was alot of mix, so i made mine quite thick so had to up the cooking time to half an hour at a lower heat... they were reeeeeally good though yummmmmmmy =]

    i hate cinnamon

    but i like biscuits

    so overall i half detest cinnamon biscuits.
