Easy To Make Swiss Roll

Easy, but with a great finish



  • 50g Caster sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 40g self raising flour and 10g cocoa or 50g self raising flour


1. Put eggs and sugar into a bowl. Whisk with electric whisk on full blast for 15-20 minuites.

2.Sprinkle on flour (and cocoa)

3. Fold in the flour/cocoa

4. Put in the oven (You need a baking tray that is lined with greaseproof paper) for 5 mins

5. Flip onto a wet teatowel

6. Add the jam with knife

7. Roll and push

8. eat the great creation

    This recipe didnt work well... Texture of the roll was much rubber like. :(

    Yeah also what size tray? Do i need cream or can i just put jam in? 5 mins seems a very short time.. Help as i want to surprise my parents when they get home :)

    Do ya have to grease the grease proof paper ,because i done this and the roll got stuck to the grease proof paper????
