Fruit Crumble

Tasty dessert for all!



  • 450g stewed fresh fruit
  • 150g flour (wholemeal if desired)
  • 75g block margarine or butter
  • 50g brown or white sugar
  • 25g porridge oats (optional)


1. Light oven to gas mark 6 or 200c

2. Put the stewed fruit into your oven-proof dish

3. Sieve the flour into the glass bowl

4. Rub in the margarine or butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs

5. Stir in the sugar and oats if using

6. Pour the crumble topping onto your fruit

7. Put the dish on the baking tray and using your oven gloves, put it in the oven

8. Bake for 25-30 mins until light gloden brown
