Stand the flan case on the rack of your grill.
Soak the flan case with some of the juice from the can of pineapple
Arrange the pineapple rings on the sponge case with one in the middle and the rest slightly overlapping around the edge
Cream the marg with the sugar until it turns lighter in colour
Mix in the coconut and milk
spread this mix carefully over the top of the pineapple
Cut the cherries in half and place in the centre of each pineapple ring, with a whole one in the middle ring
Preheat the grill, place flan underneath and grill until golden brown.
Serve hot or cold
