I love them :l



  • 110g (4 oz) plain flour sifted
  • 280 mls (1/2 pint) milk
  • 2 medium eggs
  • pinch salt (optional)


Measure ingredients and mix in a bowl.

heat a non-stick frying pan (if not non-stick melt add lump of butter).

turn heat down to medium.

pour in a few spoonfuls of mixture and tilt the frying pan until base is thinly covered.

cook for a minute or two until pancake can be gently lifted with a spatula.

turn over or toss ( toss it, you know you want to)

cook for about another minute until golden then serve.

some awesome toppings

savoury toppings:

grated cheese

ham or bacon


soft chopped or cooked vegetables e.G. Red pepper

cooked chicken

cooked garlic mushrooms

stir fried veg

( my sister recommended)

sweet pancake toppings:

lemon juice and sugar

chocolate spread


maple syrup

golden syrup


ice cream

squirty cream!
