Quick Easy Sponge Cake

Couple of ingredients yum too



  • 4oz butter
  • 4oz sugar
  • 4oz self raising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of icing sugar
  • pinch of baking powder
  • icing sugar to finish and decorate.


1.Add butter & sugar in bowl and mix.

2. Sieve flour & baking powder in.

3. Then add eggs.

4.Mix all together till creamy and thick.

5. Pour into a tin.

6. Bake at gas mark 4 for 20ish minutes or till it springs back up when touched.

7. Leave to cool.

8. Dust with icing sugar to finish
