Masala Chai Ginger Free

Hot filling spiced indian tea



  • 1 mug milk
  • 1 mug water
  • 3 cardomon pods
  • cinnamon
  • 5 cloves
  • sugar/honey
  • black tea - loose leaf or bagged (2 bags or 2 teaspoons of medium strength tea)


Put water and milk in a pan and put on high heat. Add the black tea.

open cardomon pods and put inner seeds into pan.

crush cloves and add to pan.

add 2 teaspoons of powedered cinnamon

add sugar or honey, a few teaspoons but the sweeter the better.

bring to the boil so it froths to the top of the pan, then turn heat right down. Repeat one more time. Tip drink through a sieve into a mug
