Heat oil in pan; fry onion and garlic until onion is soft. (add the chilli here if you choose to use it). Step 2: 2. Add bacon, fry for ~2 minutes. (pan may look like it is burning, but it’s just caramelising). Step 3: 3. If you are using chicken, add it here, and fry until cooked through. Step 4: 4. Add capsicum for ~1 minute. Step 5: 5. Add tins of tomato soup and crushed tomatoes; simmer. Step 6: 6. Cook the pasta as per packet instructions. Step 7: 7. Serve topped with cheese!
