Step 1:

  • 1) boil water and add to potato flakes to make mashed potato
  • Step 2:

  • 2) drain fish and flake with (clean) hands)
  • Step 3:

  • 3) add to potato and mix well
  • Step 4:

  • 4) add all spices (not last three ingredients
  • Step 5:

  • 5) shape into patties / kebabs (2cm thick circles)
  • Step 6:

  • 6) heat oil
  • Step 7:

  • 7) dip patties into egg, then breadcrumbs then shallow fry until golden brown on each side
  • Step 8:

  • 8) place in either pitta bread or burger buns with lettuce and ketchup for fish kebab burgers!
