Fish Kebabs / Fish Kebab Burgers

Mega versatile fish and potato kebabs



  • 1 tin of salmon or tuna
  • a packet of mashed potato flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika 1 tsp
  • mixed herbs
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 egg beaten
  • breadcrumbs
  • oil for frying


1) boil water and add to potato flakes to make mashed potato

2) drain fish and flake with (clean) hands)

3) add to potato and mix well

4) add all spices (not last three ingredients

5) shape into patties / kebabs (2cm thick circles)

6) heat oil

7) dip patties into egg, then breadcrumbs then shallow fry until golden brown on each side

8) place in either pitta bread or burger buns with lettuce and ketchup for fish kebab burgers!
