Fried fish with sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 whole medium sized fish (any kind, I used TILAPIA for this recipe) (can be: Mackerel, Trout, Fillet of cod, etc.)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup carrot, julienne
  • 1 1 inch sized ginger, julienne
  • 1 medium sized onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp chili powder *(optional)
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Method

1. Fry the fish with oil until crispy.

2. In a different pan, saute onion and garlic until onion is translucent.

3. Add in carrots and ginger.

4. Pour tomato sauce and water. Simmer over low heat until the carrot is soft.

5. Arrange the fish in a plate and pour the sauce on top of the fish.
