Step 1:

  • Put margarine, golden syrup, brown sugar in a pan and melt (if you have a microwave then it can be done in that)
  • Step 2:

  • when melted add to flour and rolled oats. Mix up.
  • Step 3:

  • spread into a greased baking tin and bake at 180 for about 15 mins.
  • Step 4:

  • you can experiment with this recipe and add things like chopped apricots, glace cherries, chocolate chips. You can even wait until its cooked and then cover with melted chocolate.
  • Step 5:

  • dont try and take the flapjack out of the tin too early you need to let it cool a bit. When it is just warm mark it out into squares and then cut up.
