French Jalapeno Popper

A twist on poppers and french toast.
Difficulty Level: easy
Ingredients
- (for one sandwich)
- 1 – jalapeno
- 1 – cream cheese spread(philadelphia)
- 2 – slices of bread
- 3 – strips of bacon
- 2 – eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- (increase as needed for more sandwiches)
Instructions
1 – cut the jalapeno into strips length wise.
2 – beat the eggs in a large dish(big enough to coat the bread.
3 – cook the bacon and jalapeno strips together. Keep the pan warm (i used the grease from the bacon later on, you can drain it and use oil or whatever)
4 – separate the bacon from the jalapeno and crush up the bacon into small bits. Put the bits onto a plate.
5 – spread the cream cheese on each slice of bread, evenly place strips of jalapenos on one slice and cover with shredded cheese and complete the sandwich with the other slice.
6 – coat the sandwich in egg, make sure to keep the sandwich together.
7 – place the egg covered sandwich into the bacon bits and coat each side of the sandwich.
8 – put the sandwich in the pan and cook on medium for about 5mins on each side – or until bread is golden. Let stand for 2mins and enjoy.
