Garlic Fried Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of small mushrooms (or big ones if you have a big frying pan)
  • Butter/margerine
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Frylight/olive oil/ vegetable oil
  • Bread (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and dice finely (or use a garlic crusher)

  2. Wash and cut the mushrooms in half (or quarters depending on the size)

  3. Spray or put the oil in the frying pan

  4. Put as much or as little butter/marg in the frying pan

  5. Turn the hob on full heat

  6. Throw the butter, garlic and mushrooms in the frying pan and swizz it all round with a spoon/spatula until they go golden or crispy

  7. You now have the option of draining the butter and juices from the pan, or just pouring them on the plate/bowl (that makes a nice sauce to dip the bread in, and the garlic gives this recipe a crunchy kick to it)
