? sift in the flour and bring everything together, either with good hand mixing or an electric whisk Step 9:
? pour the mixture into a well greased tray – a roasting dish will double up if nothing else suitable! Step 11:
? put into a preheated 180c oven for about 25 minutes, or until golden, risen and a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Step 13:

? use an electric whisk to combine the 60g butter with 120g icing sugar until a creamy paste Step 19:
? once the cake is cool, spread the icing on, cut into squares, and decorate how you please! Step 21:
