3-Easy Halloween Pretzel Snacks for a Party

STEP 1:
First, prepare your workspace. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. This will make it easier to remove the pretzels once they’re set.
STEP 2:
Now, melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate or candy melts with ½ teaspoon of coconut oil or shortening. This will help make the chocolate smoother and easier to work with. Microwave the mixture in 20-30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat it.
STEP 3:
Melt orange candy melts using the same method as in Step 2.
STEP 4:
The other bowl will remain white. Dip each pretzel in the bowl of white chocolate, and gently tap the excess chocolate off of each pretzel and back into the bowl. Lay the coated pretzels on parchment.
STEP 5:
Place the candy eyes on the top two holes of the pretzel, and let sit until the chocolate has cooled and set.
STEP 6:
Place this chocolate into a piping bag or plastic bag. Snip the corner of the baggie. Pipe the white chocolate onto the top of each pretzel in lines to look like mummy wrapping. Sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles. Add crisscrosses over the face and let cool until solid.
STEP 7:
Dip additional Halloween pretzel snacks in the orange-colored chocolate and top with a green M&M to make a stem. Let cool until solid.
STEP 8:
Dip the remaining Halloween pretzel snacks into orange or white chocolate and top with Halloween sprinkles! Let cool until solid.
