Home Made Meatballs And Sauce

Approx 16 meatballs.Simple, tasty and cheap.

Ingredients
- Meatballs :
- 400g mince
- 1 egg
- 250 breadcrumbs.
- Garlic, chilli, rosemary, basil, parsley (basically any herbs or spices you like)
- 100g Parmesan (any grated cheese)
- Sauce
- 4 strips of bacon
- 1 onion
- 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- More garlic! (I love garlic :P)
Instructions
Meatballs:
Put all ingredients in a bowl.
Using your hands, mix all ingredients together.
Pull off some of the mince and roll into a ball in your hands (can be any size!)
Fry these in a pan, but only brown them, (don’t burn them!) as they will cook through in the sauce.
Sauce:
Chop up the bacon and onion and fry them in a pan.
Add the tin of tomatoes, puree and garlic (or any herbs you like.)
Now transfer your meatballs into the sauce and simmer on a medium heat for approx 15 mins.
Whilst that is simmering, cook your spaghetti or pasta, and serve.
