Step 1:

  • I learnt this recipe from a friend who’s family is from Hungary – I have loved paprika since then!
  • Step 2:

  • place the pork chops in a grill pan with oil and cook until lightly coloured, add the peppers and onion.
  • Step 3:

  • add about a tablespoon of tomato puree and 2 teaspoons of the smoked paprika – add the herbs and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4:

  • stir the mixure, turn down the temperature and cover to allow to cook and ‘steam’ through
  • Step 5:

  • It should be ready after 15 mins, and if you’d like a bit of a kick just add some chilli or cajun seasoning.

  • when I’ve made it for friends it’s been great with onion mash and brocolli, or roast garlic potatoes and garlic bread… or salad! anything really 🙂
