Jam drop biscuits

Ingredients

  • (if you don’t have measuring cups, just use a large coffee cup)
  • 2 cups of self raising flour
  • 3/4 cup of margerine
  • 3/4 cup of caster sugar
  • Jam
  • Also very good with nutella or lemon curd, if you don’t want to use jam.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Rub the flour and margerine together in a large bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs. stir in the sugar. Add a few tablespoons of milk and bring together until it forms a dough. Pull off small chunks, roll into balls and flatten. Make a well in the middle of each biscuit, using your thumb. Fill with jam. Bake for around 15 minutes, or until slightly golden.
