Ingredients
- 1 turnip,1 swede, 3 carrots or any root vegetables except potatoes
- 3 tomatoes, quartered
- 2 lamb shanks or other cheap on the bone cut of lamb
- 500ml water
- 500ml veg stock
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 3 stalks of celery
Instructions
1) in a really big pot brown off meat and onion
2) add all the other ingredients, then cook until meat is falling off the bone
3) serve with mash
