I sometimes add some chili powder to give an extra bite! Or even some rice to make it super filling!Instructions Step 1: Put a pot of hot water on the hob. Step 2: Add stock cube and turmeric/chilli powder. Step 3: Add lentils. Step 4: Whilst bringing this to the boil, dice the turnip, onion, and any other veg going in. Step 5: Grate carrot. Step 6: Add all ingredients to the pot and allow to cook for at least 30 minutes. Step 7: Add any seasoning to taste. Step 8: Step 9: I tend to blend the soup once it is cooked.
