Ingredients
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, diced
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning to the beef along with a splash of water. Stir and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer. Top with the seasoned beef, black beans, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with sliced jalapeños, diced tomatoes, avocado, and cilantro.
- Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream on the side.
