Makeshift pasta sauce

Easy sauce that goes with anything
Difficulty Level: easy
Ingredients
- Half teaspoon of flour
- Sunflower oil
- Milk
- Bacon
- Mushrooms
- A selection of: tomato puree, ketchup, bbq sauce, worcester sauce
- Beef OXO cube.
Instructions
Chop up the bacon into small chunks
Add a dash of oil into a saucepan and heat
Throw in the bacon and fry it
Put in half a teaspoon of plain flour
Stir flour in until it browns (roughly a minute)
Pour in enough milk to cover the bacon and to make a decent sized sauce
Stir in for a couple of minutes
Start to add whatever sauces you have, stir constantly and taste occasionally til the flavour is right (usual I start with ketchup and bbq sauce till it has a good flavour then add in a small amount of worcester sauce for a bit of a kick)
Crush in a beef OXO cube and stir
Chop up a couple of mushrooms and add them
The end product then goes on whatever you’ve prepared to go with it (be it pasta, potato or rice)
