Low fat meatballs in tomato sauce

Ingredients

  • For 4:
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 16 low fat meatballs (turkey or hoki for low fat)
  • 2 tins of tomatos in juice
  • handfull mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs/ black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a pan of boiling water until tender and soft. Chop and peel the vegetables and crush the garlic. Cook the meatballs in no oil, for extra lightness and for a lower fat option. Add in the tomatos and vegetables once the meatballs have browned. Season with mixed herbs and/or black pepper. Serve out equally with 4 meatballs each.

  2. Great with low fat garlic bread!
